One of Wiltshire’s Most Beautiful Pub Gardens

Set beside the gently flowing By-brook, our cobbled garden terrace is made for long lunches, slow afternoons and drinks that stretch into the evening sunshine. Leafy trees provide natural shade on warmer days by the flowing water, while sun-soaked corners catch the light from morning through to dusk – creating a relaxed countryside setting that feels quietly hidden away.

Landlord Tamas and the team look forward to welcoming you for seasonal food, chilled spritzes and relaxed outdoor dining in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside. Whether you’re joining us after a nearby walk, stopping by for a sunny lunch, or settling in for an afternoon beside the By-brook, the garden is a place to linger a little longer.

It’s the kind of place where another drink always seems like a good idea.

Burger Shack in the Garden

For a limited time this summer, something a little different has arrived in the garden at The White Hart, Ford.

Set amongst the cobbles, leafy trees and gently flowing By-brook, our Burger Shack brings a more relaxed way to dine outdoors – perfect for long afternoons in the sunshine, easy suppers with friends, and something indulgent alongside a cold drink.

Expect double beef burgers, southern fried chicken, bratwurst dogs, loaded fries and plenty of garden moments best enjoyed slowly.

Walk-ins are always welcome, with food served from 12 noon Saturday & Sunday, throughout the summer season.

A little more playful for summer – still very much The White Hart.
